Religion? Relationship?

Understanding one's religion or what should I say... "relationship with GOD" is never easy with a closed heart... At first I don't really want to post this but I guess this is the best way to express my feeling or at least my understanding about the term "RELIGION"....

Before that.. I would like to thank all my Christian friends for the wonderful evening!! It was a very well organised Christmas celebration and I guess most of us had a great time!! Great friends, cute presents, wonderful events and also not to forget the fantastic food really made my day!! You guys are awesome!!

So.. why do I write this post? Been thinking for quite some time if I should write it... I can say topic like this is very sensitive... but after I saw some "comment" on FB... I decided to give it a try... I guess most of you who read this already know what happen... for those who don't... well... it's story time!!

Everything goes well during the Christmas celebration until someone gave an example while he is trying to explain what's is Christianity or who is Jesus... What I can say is that the example used is "not-so-appropriate" because in someone else ears they may sound like you are condemning or criticizing other religion... Well... sometimes I guess you need skill and a little more talent to gospel! (although you may be telling the truth... but better not to offend other's feelings)

Usually when things like this happened we don't really post in publicly on FB... I guess it's better to have a group discussion... It's a good way to know each other more, to understand and respect each others more... Sometimes when people only listen to what was told by one party and not from the other, misunderstanding happen... Really can see the domino effect from the FB comment as more and more comments pop up on the FB wall! (mostly is the non-Christian believer expressing their feelings)... guys.. when you all do this... u are hurting the feelings of the Christians too...

As for me... I'm a Buddhist.. some may say I'm a Buddhist due to family tradition (u just follow who your parents are)... some prefer the word atheism (it's okay to be a atheist if your mind and moral value is good and right).. but I'm a Buddhist... not merely because it's my family's religion.. but because of the teaching in Buddhism which makes me who I am now... some may say I'm not complete... but I say I'm fine with who I am... Heaven? I believe the existence of this place... but I believe more on karma... what you do in this life will be what you are on your next life.. some may say I closed the door of my heart from Jesus.. but my heart is occupied with Buddha... what's the rational on opening the door? Some may say we lose faith and go to the church... but the reason I go to the church is to understand others more (okay lah.. I must admit the food is real good!!)... 1Malaysia spirit mahh!

But... Is it important to win over an argument? Religion or Relationship? Well... Solely my personal opinion (hope no one will get offended by this post)... As one of my friend said... we must forgive and forget! for me... let's forgive but not forget as it can be a real good lesson for us!! Peace ya!~ It's Christmas time~

Very Inspiring Lecturer....

Our university did it again!! we lost another great and dedicated lecturer... In this 3 years of medical life... I've met some really great professor and lecturer... let's count!!

Prof Roland - my very 1st mentor during year 1... although I get to know him for only 2 months.. but I never forget how he guided me for my Formative Assessment... He is the only mentor that discuss each and every single question that I answer wrongly with me!! Especially those super super long microbe's names that is very very long and very very difficult for me to memorise during year 1...

Associate Prof Anupama - the only lecturer who take LRT back home with me.. If I stay back after class until 5pm, I will sure see her waiting at the LRT station... she is a very kind and good teacher... Will never forget how she actually "forced" us to copy each and every single page of her slides during lecture!! LOL... btw she is a very cute lecturer!! We always talk about her husband that is teaching at IMU in the LRT!!

Prof Zabidah - the pharmacology lecturer that never let us down for our FA result... this is because she will always some sort like "hint" us on the questions that is coming out in exam!! Good to see her at KT during dinner at Kuala Ibai... Too bad she is teaching at another university...

Prof Aishah - greatest teacher in my life!! she is the only person that manage to stop me from quiting medicine during year 1!! I'm sure I won't be here at KT if without her... too bad she is leaving soon... feel bad for those juniors... they've lost a very good lecturer and motivator... hope I can go for her farewell dinner next week at KL!!

Finally - Dr. James Smith!! like the way he make his diagnosis... He is the very 1st person that trigger us not to think like a medical student... but a practicing clinician instead!! a lecturer that really put all his effort in teaching us and will never scold us even if we ask some very stupid question... Most important of all, he is a very very very humble person!! (totally different with the arrogant and somehow "not that good Prof" of us in internal med... someone who always scold his student "rubbish lah!!") hehehee!!

There's some really nice quote from Dr James...

"All clinicians are not good teachers and all teachers are not good clinicians. What you need is a good clinician teacher."

"If you already found the elephant, why bother to find his footstep?"

"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires." - William Arthur Ward.

"For the future of human being's heath, we will get together."

"We teachers don't teach, at most we stir the students to learn."

and the champion line:

"You know what? Looi really look like my youngest brother..." That was when I'm presenting my case halfway during BST... hahahaha!! and guess what? He actually asked me to go FB search for his youngest brother!! seriously I do think I look very much like his brother... LOL...

Dr. James... a great teacher that inspired us all!!

All the best to you Dr James!! hope one day in the future I get to learn from you again!!

This is ~Life~

Been weeks our dear Ms. Monsoon is hiding herself and no where to be seen with Mr. Sun keep showing off his power by raising the temperature!! Gosh... some even say monsoon is replaced by global warming!! If that ever happen the first thing I hope Ministry of Health will implement is the removal of white coats for all the medical practitioner!! will be great if they remove tie too!! hehehe... or another better option>> place more air-cond in the hospital!!

Fortunately today monsoon is back!! it's so cooling until I just wish that I could lie on the bed and stare at the ceiling fan for the whole day!! Feeling lazy in such comfy temperature... Lucky my determination on procrastinating procrastination is high enough to keep me concentrate on my case write up and finally I'm done with it!! yay!! *shouting out loud* waaahhh arrghhhh lalalalala roar!!

Been weeks I've stop taking instant noodles... maybe because for the past few weekend I'm at KL having good food with my family... nearly forget how maggie mee taste like.. hahaha... Today.. in order to celebrate finish writing my case write up + non of my house mates is awake for lunch.. I decided to cook myself maggie mee~ Nothing is better than sitting on the bed, watching Korean drama (forced by LIM SHIAU CHONG) and eating a hot hot bowl of MAGGIE!! It's simply awesome!! another cup of chinese tea will sure make my day~ perfect weekend if I don't have to go for night duty later...

ohhh~ sedapnya~

Slacking around is just the ideal way of life... It's time for me to stare at the ceiling fan!! XD

bus bUS BUS!!

What a day!! spend almost 11 hours just to travel from KL back to KT (usually took me around 5 hours by car or 7 hours by bus)... Terrible experience of long distance bus travelling which wasted both my time and money!!

Went to Bukit Jalil bus station at 10am to start my journey back to the turtle land... Mana tau when I reach to the counter that lady told me that the bus breakdown!! That time I really think jialat liao lorhh... how am I suppose to go back KT in time to clerk my case for tmr Prof Hashim's BST?

I was "advice" by the lady to travel to Kuantan and from there get a bus to KT... well i guess that's reasonable enough since I can't wait till the night for the next coach... Immediately she help get me a ticket from Transnational and I have to wait for the bus for an hour! damn the weather is so hot and I'm wearing black!!

Travelling in Transnational is not as comfortable as the night coach I took a week ago... I was assign for a 2 person seat and fortunately the seat next to me was empty... It will be very uncomfortable if there's passenger sitting next to me... the seat is very very small!! Besides, there's bumpy and shaky road feelings in the bus even when we are traveling on the highway where it should be smooth and steady... can't even sleep well in the bus and both my back and gluteus is pain!!

We reach Kuantan bus station after 5 hours of travelling (It was 4pm already!!).. I walk to the counter section to get myself the earliest ticket back to KT... After asking ALL the travel company.. the earliest bus I can get depart at 8.30pm!! Hell man that's too late larhhh!! but they told me I have got no choice since that's the only time slot with free seats available... so I bought the ticket and plan to walk around the town since I got almost 3 - 4 hours to spend...

The moment I walk out from the station I saw The Store... well I guess I could spend some time over there (hopefully there's cinema for me to catch a movie... hahaha..) While I was walking halfway suddenly I saw a bus waiting at the roadside with KUALA TERENGGANU sticking on the windscreen!! I quickly walk towards the bus driver and ask if there's any empty seat available for me... Guess what?? there's more than 5 empty seat available!! the guy in the counter for this particular bus company told me it was full... damn!! wasted my money larh since I already bought ticket from another company which depart at 8.30pm... well I guess RM 18 is worth it rather than wasting my time slacking over there for 4 hours...

Lucky this bus is very comfortable and I manage to get some proper rest... took me another 4 hours to reach KT!! Lesson of the day... never take last day bus back!! any shit could happen.. hahaha... Better go for night bus... wasted 1 whole day just to travel back KT... LOL!!

Mesra Mall!! those rain and little flood tell me I'm getting nearer and nearer to KT...

well well... holiday??

Muahahah!! at last I'm done with all my work!! case write up, reports and seminar presentation really spoiled my holiday!! Fortunately there's another holiday coming... errmmm... tommoorrroooww!! woohhooooo~ at first I did not plan to go back KL since I think it's better to use them for my studies... but I guess I do deserve some "real" holiday... even if it's just 4 days... OMG.. I love Malaysia!! There's so many holidays here~

Everything go just so well... suddenly Nicky says he is driving back to KL so I can tumpang his car back and my dad also allow me to go back since my cousin is coming from UK tomorrow!! hopefully he bring back chocolates!! ohhh... I'm sooo hungry now (empty junk food supply)...

Last week holiday was awesome... although most of the time is in the library and my room.. at least I still manage to catch 2 movies and also walk around KL for half a day... Really a very full schedule... Get to meet up with most of my IMU friend... by sitting in the library and somehow they will just appear in front of you... missed those days of revision week study at IMU library... Loves being the intruder (that's what they call me)...

That day I was on my way to get myself some medical book from Kamal bookstore... suddenly I have the feeling of walking around KL... I remember I did it once last year but that one is a well planned solo KL trip... this time I just randomly walk around, go down from station to station, enjoying the city view, taking LRT, took pictures of skyscrapers and looking at the people around... I guess it's a good practice for my future bag pack journey...

LRT!! u will never get to see this at KT!!

a view of KL's skyscrapers..

KLCC and my favourite dolphin....

at last~ Dataran Merdeka!!!

walking alone... free to go anywhere I want.. still.. i guess 2 is better than 1...

Not to forget another very funny incident happened last week... totally prove that this is a very small world... and really that incident gave me a big surprise... No wonder u come KT and find me lah (I think most of us know who he is by now)... HAHAHA!!! anyway Hachiko is very beautiful movie... Worth watching it!! Oh yeah.. there's this little kitty incident happen during last week holiday too.. but i guess it will be better if i post it on a different post.... so stay tune for it for those that don't know what happened!!

Okay... that's about it... my eyes are pretty tired... i guess it's time to sleep and my bed is calling me!! ciao~

PS: my bowling suck!! hahahaa!!

wow... finally holiday is coming... 7 weeks pass real fast if u are busy all the time and enjoy every moment of it... case write up, presentation, student seminars, EOP and all really keep me occupied whereas Perhentian Island Challenge, Alpha course weekend away, monsoon and all the community medicine visit allow me to rest and enjoy every moment at KT!!

Just feel like posting this song as it mirror my current feelings and I'm really on the NEXT PLANE HOME!! been listening to this song for weeks and not getting bored of it.. I wonder why?

Anyway... have to get back to work... still got a report to hand in and it's already 12.30am!! Goshh i better finish it fast... hahahaha... can't wait for fogging tomorrow... Give me the weapon to kill some AEDES!!

Howling Monsoon!!

At last monsoon season is officially here... been days our lovely SUN is no where to be seen... clouds and more clouds is everywhere... cumulonimbus is all over the place with howling winds chilling our days... feel like Genting highland here... lazy weekend and wonderful weather is just too perfect to sleep... too bad got class tomorrow... I demand holiday!!! (non stop formation of nasal mucus after bath!!)

Went to Pantai Batu Buruk after dinner with my "family" member... This time really WOWed me!! the wind is so strong I think I almost being blown away the moment I step down from the car and the waves is soooo HUUGGEEEEE!!! we tried very hard to take pictures of the waves but still can't really capture the amazing view... we need a dslr!!! those that have it faster go take picture!!

We went to Mydin and bought ourselves some I heart Terengganu T-shirts... although they are not the original I heart T-shirts... still they are good enough to satisfy us... we're so excited until we took a family photo together!! LOL...

our family photo!! thanks to ji yin for editing it into such a beautiful 1...

I guess it's time to sleep... the weather is too tempting... another 5 days will be back at KL!! time pass real fast... maybe because we are so occupied by internal medicine... hope I can end this busy posting soon...

Perhentian Island Challenge!!

What a week! Suddenly there's student seminar this week and hell lot of stuff to study for internal medicine... Seriously I missed Surgery!! things are easier back there... Now I don't even have enough time for proper sleep... (I must admit I need hell lot of time for sleep~) Anyway... at least my seminar presentation is over today (thank you guys for not postponing my part till tmr)... At last I get to update on my past weekend challenge!!

I always wanted to go Redang and Perhentian ever since I fall in love with islands and marine life... Others always tell me that this 2 places is a MUST go destination for a island lover... At least now I get to visit 1... All thanks to Perhentian Island Challenge 2010 where participants only have to pay RM150 for 3 days 2 nights stay... Damn cheap!! Everything from boat ride, food, accommodation and even goodies bag is included... Only have to spend few extra bucks for souvenir...

We stay in modern tents at Teluk KK where they called it the racer village... LOL.. sounds so professional... It was a beautiful beach and participants get to enjoy the beach and relax on the very first day... the best part is the sunset... been awhile since the very last time I appreciate sunset next to the beach... All we can see is sunrise (well.. that also have to depend if we can wake up early)...

The "racer village" at Teluk KK

Sunset~

At last the long awaited race is finally here... there's 2 category in the challenge... which is the elite group and novice group... (of course all of us joined novice) For elite group they have to run for more than 20km and swim across the sea from small perhentian island to big perhentian island... The swimming part disqualified almost half of the elite participants where they can't stand the waves and seriously the distance between the 2 island is quite far!! Last year champion from Ghana even get himself disqualified at that part... (They can run like cheetah but also swim like cheetah.. haha!!)

let the race begin!!

Well... I'm not at any good position to laugh at others lah... my left leg cramp during the race while I just completed 5km i guess (novice have to run a total of 13km)... the cramp is so severe until I can't even stand properly... not long after that my right leg join the club!! so I have to finish "walking" the remaining 8km with injured legs... Countless up and down hill and difficult terrain make it easy to get our muscles cramp... Besides, the heat really make us suffer!! the race started at 11am and the sky is very clear on that day (was praying very hard for clouds that day.. hahaha)... The worst part is those beach tracks where there's totally no trees to shade us... and most of the beach is very long!!

beach run ahead!!

All 6 of us meet up at the windmill resting point and take pictures... the scenery over there is just awesome! The organizing team even plan the track for us to run down 570 steps of staircase and run up again... seriously my legs are freaking pain!! Lucky we keep on taking pictures and sing songs all the way which really raised our morale and make the rest of the race fun and interesting... At the end all 6 of us cross our hands together and run forward to the finish line... That moment is 1 to be remember for the rest of our life... so after 4 hours of running to walking till slacking... we reached the finish line... yay!!

windmill~

running together towards finishing line...

Next morning we clear up the camp site and head back to Terengganu mainland... Enjoyed the 20 minutes of speed boat ride and have mixed feelings on the way back... I promise myself to come back again next year... Well...I guess that's the summary for PIC 2010... it's time to get back to books and study! Ohhh~ internal med.. ohhh~ how I wish I can finish this posting soon...

Community medicine!!!

Phew!! what a week... community medicine is totally tiring... not because of the amount of stuff that we have to study (practically nothing much to read)... it's because of the amount of time we have to spend traveling around in car or school van!! everyday is just like going for holiday or vacation...

We visited Kemaman Port on the 1st day (to understand port health)... i think we spend almost 2 hours just to travel from UCSI campus to Kemaman... At 1st I was quite excited (I taught we get to go on ships and do some interesting visit)... Mana tau end up we go there just to see 2 traps!!! WTH... (which is ovitrap and rat trap) and we are not even near the ship!! come on larhhh... I can see those trap at A LOT of place leh... No need to go until Kemaman... waste petrol only... LOL...

Group photo at Port Kemaman... that's the nearest we can get to a ship!! LOL

ovitrap!! use to catch Aedes Agypti... I think it end up being a breeding spot!! so many mosquito there... =.=

Well... at least we got a very nice medical assistant there (Mr. Zulkifli) which is a very nice guy and he explain to us in quite a professional way... although as usual they can't really communicate in english LARH!! at least he know his stuff and able to put those information inside my brain... (hopefully those knowledge will stay in my brain until my exam!!)

Mr. Zulkifli showing us the rat trap... LOL!!

The best part of Kemaman visit is we get to go "kai kai" at Mesra Mall on our way back and believe it or not it's suggested by Dr. Eugenie (1 and half hour from KT town)... We get to "visit" the new cinema (and it's also the nearest cinema from KT)... We even crazy enough to take picture outside the cinema and feel very malu after that as there's a lot other people there looking at us!! HAHAHA!!

nearest cinema from KT... 1 n half hours away~

Second day we visited occupational rehab centre, Terengganu dumping site and Keropok Lekor factory... Unfortunately the school did not provide us with any transport and we have to drive there ourselves (lucky I'm not the driver)... Overall it's interesting and we get to makan anywhere we go... They really like to prepare food for us leh!! Nothing much to mention... Just that the keropok lekor factory is really unhygienic... Houseflies and wasps flying everywhere and they still manage to get business approval from Ministry of Health... Pro!!

great variety of fish for keropok lekor... if u look closely u may find there's high amount of flies and bees!!

processing the keropok...

hmmm... keropok lekor... got appetite? still... it's very nice to eat...

makan time!! FYI... food is very nice... especially the mee goreng!!

after the nice food~ introducing the dumping site of Terengganu... and 4 cute group mates... hahaha!!

A very friendly participant at occupational rehab centre...

Third day was awesome for me... This is the very 1st time I actually really communicate with a psychological problem patient... Totally different way of communication and require lots of patience and skills... The 1st patient we visited actually quite nice... although he is a bit shy but the moment when he smile the whole environment is just great!! (Besides, he told us he heard voices to ask him to go to the mosque!) Hmmm... Something actually come across my mind the very 1st moment I heard it... but I think it's not nice to post it here... Feel free to ask me what it is if any of u interested to know... hahahaha!

Group photo during patient house visit!! the patient can make real nice baju kurung!!

Another home visit patient!

Nothing much for 4th and 5th day... Just some simple visit to clinics and hospital... I think that's about it for this week... Gonna grab some rest for tmr's trip to Pulau Perhentian!! A place i always wanted to go since I'm still a little kid... Islands and beach is just awesome!! Must pray for good weather!!

4 idiots~

4 cows on our way back~

PS~ 3 weeks to holiday!! woohooo!! deepa deepa deepa~

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

good bye surgery..... till we meet again!!

At last... my turn to finish my end of posting examination... feel damn bad when u are the very last 1 to sit for examination and the rest of your friends already start their enjoying mood... have to study in my own room when the rest of my housemates is playing is the worst... LOL... well at least other posting is having their exam next week... hahaha.... good luck guyss!!

Though today had a very difficult old female patient but at least everything goes well... haih... how i wish i got another patient instead of her... what to do... we are not allow to choose our patient in the future... i guess prof. Khin is doing what she think is best for us... did learn a lot from her although she keep stopping me from explaining my findings.... i guess everyone in surgical posting know her character.. most of u know what i mean... hahaha!!! (hope she won't see this)

Unfortunately there's still student seminar presentation next week... can't fully enjoy my weekends... damn i hate preparing slides!! well... at least i played and enjoyed A LOT this evening... very tired but still refuse to sleep (must enjoy every moment of post-examination period)... LOL... why there's BST tommorow?? exam already over leh... how i wish Dr. Das cancel it... XD

well i guess i should call it a day and off to bed now... don't feel like walking around the ward with panda's eye!! * count down to next holiday- 4 weeks!! * yay!!

Time for some Tanglung~

Been awhile since the very last time I play candles and lanterns during mid-autumn festival... since most of my paternal side cousins are already grown up and no longer interested in such activity... It was great to celebrate MAF at KT... Had a potluck session at our house during Thursday night although it was a day late from MAF... (at least the moon is still ROUND!!) =p

eat eat eat~

Great food with great friends bring along greatest joy and fun... Had KFC, Satay, Sotong, Salad, hotdogs, nuggets, Green Bean tong sui and off course moon cakes as our dinner... it was fun to cook if we have the time... maybe we should do it once a month! XD

3 idiots~

really?? are u sure?? errr... hahaha... just put lah... LOL

What surprise me is that even KT have zhongqiu festival... cool leh... although there's not much of tanglung can be seen and mainly it is like a ordinary pasar malam (at least there's some performers invited from China)... still it was a great night...

2 malat lou at pesta tanglung

still able to write Chinese calligraphy with both hands amputated... respect!!

kong ming lantern

my favorite =)

DBKT build a new waterfront area for tourist and the view is awesome... especially the bridge and river (if they clean it then it will be perfect)....

another tourist attraction spot at KT (still don't know the name of the river)

holiday au revoir~

I must admit that taking plane is way more comfortable than car... though is more expensive but the feeling is great when u get to see cumulus from the top.. amazing views of hills, lakes, rivers and east coast of peninsula Malaysia 28,000 feet above sea level... most important of all.. there will not be any ass-pain moment which I always experience traveling long distance in car... A good way to end my Raya holiday...

at Kuala Terengganu airport

Seriously can't believe what I did during this week of holiday (something I always wanted to do)... going out shopping with family, movie and karaoke session with friends and the best part is get to rot at home doing nothing!! Totally not what a medical student should do when his end of posting exam is coming in another 2 weeks time...

I think the amount of days and shopping mall I visited this week surpass most of the average shopaholic... Before this I really don't like to go shopping mall where u have to follow your sis around to find her ideal pair of shoes and stuff... hahaha...(joking only la jie.. no hard feeling ya!!) Now I kinda enjoy it... for a very simple reason... There is so many Chinese and Indians around!! something RARE at KT when there's only 3% Chinese and 0.3% Indians!! HAHAHA.... (I'm not racist... just enjoy the feeling not being the minority~people do stare at us at KT like we are some sort of aliens or mutant) LOL~

What a mother will do when her son return from somewhere far far away after a long long time is definitely amazing... Keep asking my dad to bring me out somewhere nice to eat.. Sake sushi treat from my dearest sis, dry chili pan mee, dim sum and other great food from my parents... Pork noodle, Pork chop and bak kut teh is on the top of the list (as long as it's pork)... LOL... I think I've gain some weight during this holiday... YEAH!!

Well... Is about time to get back to studies and before I forget... HaPpY BirThDaY bro~ all the best and study hard for your dream.. Hope u have a sweet 19!! Good Luck for your trials!!

Once again... Au revoir holiday~ see u in another 7 weeks time... *count down begin*

Coming back HOME...

My very first experience of "balik Kampung" opps... my mistake.. it should be "balik Bandar" is totally awesome... Other than the anticipation to meet up with my friends and family, the journey back KL is unbelievable.. We spend less than 5 hours to travel from KT to KL (including the time for micturition and DEFECATION!!) Thank God I have 2 competent driver to bring me home safely.. well at least I'm still alive!! usually I will fall asleep traveling for such a long distance but I'm well awake that day.. The reason is simple ~ adrenaline rush !! Genting Highland's roller coaster is nothing in comparison to that journey... You know what I mean!!

It was sad to witness vehicle conflagration and numerous accident on the way back... Especially during festive seasons where family members is waiting for their love one to come home... Drive SAFE!! There's already 118 death recorded due to MVA this Hari Raya and we don't need more...

It's been 2 months since the last time I see buildings taller than 15 stories high... At last we are back in town!! KL tower and twin tower is never this beautiful!! The very first thing we do is to feed our stomach at Taman Connaught's McD... It feels great when they ask "having here or take away?" instead of "makan sini ke bungkus?" and i nearly answer "makan sini" ...LOL... currently I'm enjoying the time for not being the 3% minority... hahaha...

Merdeka!!

I remember when I was young.. the most anticipating things to do during celebration of independence day was to wake up early and sit in front of the TV watching Live parade from RTM 1... I wonder why I like it so much... anyway this year is totally different... instead of waking up.. I actually sleep until past noon... feel so energise after the long hour of sleep... It is not easy to have sufficient rest during weekdays...

Well.. in order to show our patriotism.. we actually bought both Jalur Gemilang and Terengganu state flags ever since the 1st week we come to KT... We keep it in the drawer until the very last week before Merdeka day (due to unlimited procrastination)... unfortunately the Jalur Gemilang only last for 2 days at our gate and got "borrowed" away... most probably the Mat Rempits... LOL.. Lucky we already take pictures with our national flag... we don't really blame them for their "act of patriotism" because they must be too poor to buy Malaysia flag (RM5)... Hahaha...

Jalur Gemilang and Turtle land's flag

Yesterday evening we had a very spontaneous visit to the beach to celebrate Jessica's birthday and off course Hari Merdeka!! It was nice and crazy as we actually sing "Negaraku", our own state and even school songs at the beach... we end the evening by shouting Merdeka for 5 times (initially we want to do it 7 times but really paiseh la) hahaha.. Totally Legendary evening!!

everyone is trying to keep the wind away from the candles...LOL

great friends and nice beach

What happen??!!! 祸不单行....

Everything was fine here at KT until 1 day... 1 very fine day where I was still sleeping comfortably in the cooling morning.. well.. to be more specific is already pass 12 noon and yes I was still asleep (to mom: it's weekend!!)... suddenly there's a loud BANG in my room and nearly caused me a heart attack... I wonder where did the sound came from until I notice the fan blades of my stand fan is broken into pieces... Arghhh.. nothing is worst than having your stand fan spoil at such a hot weather... Thanks to ji yin for lending me his stand fan... so touched!!感恩感恩!!

my stand fan!! T.T

still... there's something even worst than that happen 2 days later when I was heading to china town for lunch.. the strap of my wrist watch got loosen and my watch dropped on the floor!! since this was not the 1st time things like this happen so I was quite chill and just pick it up... This is what i found after i picking up the watch..

my wrist watch!! T.T

seems like my luck is getting low... really 祸不单行... haih... maybe it's time to visit the temple...保佑保佑!

Introducing Mydin~

Before I start introducing Mydin.. I would like to congratulate TM net for their efficiency in setting up internet service at my place... (took them 7 weeks to do that... not bad la)... LOL... now I found myself reasons to procrastinate my study and assignment (other than Drangon Ball).. YEAH!!

Mydin Mall~ the biggest shopping mall available at the town of KT (so proud!! XD) which have 30% the size of Mid Valley (or smaller @.@)… is my favourite place to go during weekends to get my daily stuff and things over there are cheap.. It is also the only few places that will have traffic jam at KT (it’s rare to have traffic jam here)… The 1st runner up goes to Giant and 2nd runner up goes to The Store!! Don’t have to think about 4th and 5th place.. There are only 3 shopping “mall” at this turtle town…

perfect night view of Mydin with 2 傻佬~

Since there’s only limited time for all those cooking work, the only time we use the stove were for the instant noodles… This also led to my bad habit of taking in excess junk food… Instant noodle, Jack & Jill, biscuits, ice-cream, packet drinks were stuff that I take whenever I feel hungry and also the only stuff that I will buy from Mydin (please tell me if u have any other good junk food suggestion) LOL…

"healthy" food from Mydin~

Puasa month had begun and is totally different to what it was at KL… Fast food such as KFC or McD will be closed until 3pm I think (maybe 4)… Lucky there’s china town at this place… so we can at least get our lunch there... if not I’m sure I will lose more weight and I know there’s not much left in me… hahaha… anyway there's bazar ramadhan nearby...would really like to try most of the kuih-muih there... unfortunately the amount of flies is terrifying.. Lucky i didn't "Lao Sai" after eating that kuih melaka (if I'm not wrong.. is a green colour rounded kuih)... Murtabak is still my favourite!!

Murtabak!!
