Just for my own satisfaction... please don't read to prevent bias... =)

Not that I'm going to show off here that I'm good at organizing event... just feel like sharing out something after yesterday's Public Health Campaign and some "event" that just happened today (I guess most of u already know lah.. no need mention dy)...

After participating in numerous big and small events... I've seen and work with different kind of people and trust me... what I see today just reminds me on what happened during secondary school life... It's just the same... people just want to get praise and claim credits, showing off their rank and position.. what worst is these people din't even really make themselves useful during the event... sometimes I just feel sad for people that work really hard with full commitment and end up involve with some issue over credits and power...

Compliments must be given to the chairperson (Shee Ven), committee members and all the students that really helped out the event... I must say it was a very successful one and trust me... u guys really did an awesome job (especially Shee Ven)... (Will update about the event on a different post later)... our committee members are bunch of dedicated people... it's nice to work with u guys.... =)

okay after all the long winded bla bla blaaa... I will just type my own feeling about the PHC and the "event" that happened... partly i just wish that maybe somehow the person involve will read this... *note - this is just for feeling expression and full with more bla bla blaa... please continue reading if u have insomnia... if not... please ignore me and go do other stuff... i bet u will just fall asleep after reading it... XD

2 days before PHC... some people with "Very high" post in the student council just asked our organizing chairperson if we printed brochures to be distributed in the hospital (trust me.. not in a well mannered way)... well.. we did not print any extra brochures to be distributed in the hospital prior to PHC... why should we?? is it rational?? i don't know... let's go for the main objective of a public health campaign... to create awareness around the "healthy appearance" public about certain disease which portray "iceberg phenomena" such as diabetes and hypertension... okay... so tell me... would anyone in the hospital which is already undergo regular follow up or treatment is considered as our target group?? and will distributing extra 150 brochures in the hospital increase the amount of participant during PHC?? For me it's just simply a non-productive publicity which will waste our time and money... Besides... if somehow u have any "brilliant" idea... why not say it 5 months ago while we started our very first few meetings?? it's obvious that "someone" just want to show off their power as if they are some "big shot"...

Well... things doesn't ends just there... it's just the beginning.. thank you for spending your precious time reading it and i will continue with another example which happened during PHC... while everyone is busy setting up for the event... our dear "big shot" just stand there and ask questions, trying to show that she is someone in POWER... now i must make things clear to her again... during an event... the Organizing Chairperson is the HEAD... KETUA... not u... not student council... it's the whole committee... so if u really wanna help us out why not get your hand dirty and start helping us setting up?? instead of just standing there and "showing your face"...

End up u say 340 participants is not enough... well... did u at least try to help us usher more people to our event? at least i will be grateful if u manage to help us get 1 participant to our event... seriously yesterday i was pretty annoyed when i saw u standing there doing nothing while others working like mad... besides... why just show your face during "important" moment where lecturers and other "big shot" is there? where were u when we are cleaning up the area at 5pm??

Well.. seriously if u din't create another "problem" today i guess i will just quickly forget about your attitude yesterday... the way u act today has just totally humiliate us as a medical student... not to forget that u are some "big shot" in student council... please don't men-siasui-kan us... if u wan something... ask nicely as u mean it... we have eyes and ears... respect others if u wan others to respect u... u are not the only one that holding "high post"... more than half of us in the class were head perfect, presidents, chairman and experienced leaders during high school... don't be too proud of yourself...

Last thing mention is some guys in our class are kinda sad case... what kind of man are u if u just wanna sit there measure blood pressure and leave the pamphlets distributing and ushering job to the girls... come on... why can't u guys just go and distribute it under the hot sun instead of the girls?? (this is only for 1 or 2 guys... not for others that helped out yesterday)... memalukan lelaki saje...

I must thanks all the members that involved in publicity for helping us distributing the pamphlets around Mydin... I know most of us have been rejected as the public taught we were some direct selling people... It's not an easy job and not many people will see your hard work and appreciate your effort.... I know u guys did well... especially Thomas... so paiseh have to drag him along with me for the whole day... Others u know who lah... no need to mention name here dy... if not it will be very lengthy... =) (special thanks to kev, kamal, francine and jiyin too~)

Ahhh... can't believe I wrote this much... I can be very nice person as a friend... but don't challenge my limit when come to organizing event... I'm okay with slackers but not power hungers... 如果你喜欢拿别人的屁股当脸皮,那就尽管拿去吧,我们的屁股肉很多。哈哈哈!anyway business is business... nothing personal here... maybe because of this i always wanna help out in events but not becoming a committee... thank you for your time~ i bet it's a good lullaby... Good night~

  1. Chill bro. well, the whole story showed that u had tahan till the last minute. Good job anyway. Sometimes the hardest thing in an organisation is not lack of talent, the unity take the major part instead. However, i believe those who like to stand out without humble attitude, soon or less people will know their limited capability and get isolated.

Next time i will update with ya, well i have some person in my mind regarding who u talking about. Good job bro, sexiest doctor ever.

Btw, i love to challenge ur limit oso. kekeke. bite me. muhahahaha.
